While the QT site plan ends at Smiley, the QT traffic study included other key intersections affected at this location, namely the I-44E exit onto Jamieson.

During all peak driving hours, QT's traffic study gave this exit ramp onto Jamieson an "F" rating. Additional traffic exiting QT will only increase congestion and delay.

QT's traffic study gave left-hand turns from Jamieson onto Arsenal during PM rush hour an "E" rating.

Detail from QuikTrip site plan showing the QT left-hand turn onto Arsenal, which was rated F during PM rush hour. Also shown is the I-44W exit onto Arsenal which is directly across from the QT exit onto Arsenal.

Cars exiting I-44W have to cut across three lanes of busy Arsenal traffic directly across from the new QT exit, where more cars will be competing for road access.

This competition will cause cars to back up on the exit ramp. All without the benefit of stronger traffic control at this new four-way intersection.

QT's traffic study gave left-hand turns from this QT exit (that they designed) during PM rush hour an "F" rating.

QT Site Plan

QT's own traffic study shows serious traffic problems in the QT site plan. It evaluated the traffic flow Level of Service (LOS) at nine key, existing intersections and three proposed QT access driveways. All of which received a grade of A-F (where F is the worst rating).

While there are multiple areas of concern, here are some of the most alarming.
