Commuters

You don't have to live in Ellendale, Lindenwood Park, or Clifton Heights to have a stake in this.

If you drive on Jamieson or Arsenal to reach I-44 or I-64—coming from St. Louis Hills, Mackenzie, Princeton Heights, Northampton, and beyond—this proposed development sits directly in your path.

Here's what QT's own traffic study projects for your daily commute:

  • 610 additional vehicles entering and exiting the site during just 3 peak hours alone

  • A new left-turn exit onto Jamieson, cutting across 6 lanes of traffic, that QT's own traffic study rates "F" — the worst possible score

  • Another "F" left-turn exit placed almost directly across from the I-44W exit ramp, creating more conflicts where commuters are merging westbound onto Arsenal

Jamieson & Arsenal is already one of the most congested intersections in St. Louis. Adding 610 peak-hour trips to the corridor that feeds it isn't a neighborhood problem—it's a regional one.

4th Ward residents and supporters from across St. Louis are welcome to sign the petition, contact the alderman, and/or join our effort.

PM traffic westbound on Arsenal, stopped at Jamieson intersection.

Your voice counts here even if your address doesn't.

4th Ward Alderman Bret Narayan has said he will follow the wishes of the community. And commuters who use these roads are part of that community.

PM traffic westbound on Arsenal, stopped at Jamieson intersection.
